Jan organized a terrific plan to visit a number of National Parks in a 10-day loop.  On this trip we flew to Las Vegas, rented a car and visited the following places: Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon National Park, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Capital Reef National Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Zion National Park. We also did a drive through Las Vegas, had a nice lunch there, but found the heat to be oppressive. All things considered, it was a wonderful trip.
